In the cabinet
True Lehsunia is chrysoberyl cat’s eye, not quartz. The sharp silvery band should open and close as the stone is turned, and sit centred on a honey or green-honey body. Cabochons are cut to hold the eye; faceting destroys it.
In the tradition
Lehsunia is Ketu’s stone. It is a specialist gem, traditionally worn after counsel, often on a Thursday.
